Volume of a cuboid and liquid

Hi all,

We learnt about the volume of a cuboid today. Remember, the same formula still applies when finding formula of cubes and cuboids.

Volume = Length x Breadth x Height

We also learnt to convert from cubic centimetres to litres and millilitres.

Practice pages 172 to 176 of your textbook at home.

Understanding and measuring volume

Hi all,

We learnt about finding the volume of cubes and cuboids today. Please make sure that you count all cubes in the pictures shown, including the hidden cubes. Remember that to find the volume, you need to multiply the length, breadth and height of the given figure. Practice pages 155-158 and 164-171 of the textbook with your parents at home.

Hope you have a good holiday tomorrow!

Angles of Triangles

Hi all,

Today, we learnt about the angles of triangles.

The sum of all angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

For right-angled triangles, the sum of the other two angles (which are not right angles) is 90 degrees.

Practice the following pages in your textbook. Pages 113-119. You can show me in class to check your answers.

Here are some websites to help you learn more:
